Getting there

Skelpick and Rhifail Lodges are approximately 65 miles or two hours’ drive from Inverness or one hour from Wick.

Car hire is easy from Inverness with several operators there.

The most direct route by road from Inverness is to take the A9 north to Bonar Bridge, the A836 through Lairg to Altnaharra and continuing up the B873, along Loch Naver and the River Naver, to Rhifail or Skelpick.

Flights run to Inverness daily from Glasgow, Edinburgh, and many English airports. You can fly from Edinburgh to Wick daily. British Airways, FlyBe and Easyjet all provide good services.

The nearest train station is Kinbrace, approximately 30 minutes away, with services twice daily from Inverness. Alternatively there are normal and daily sleeper services to Inverness.
